For the third year in a row the Alamo Drafthouse in Austin,TX held it’s Dismember the Alamo Zombie Film Festival.  The three night festival included screenings zombie films, their annual zombie shorts competition, and a zombie lurch to the Texas State Capitol.

The People Zombies were marching lurching to the capitol in support of equal rights for the undead! Apparently Zombies have been discriminated against for too long and they felt it was time to speak out.  Lurchers were encouraged to make creative signs and had a zombie happy hour after their work was done.  Oh Austin! No wonder your motto is “Keep Austin Weird.” Maybe it should be ”Beware of Zombies.”
